29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10):     Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels, was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or a combination of warning line system and fuardrail system, warning line system and safety net system, or warning line system and personal fall arrest system, or warning line system and safety monitoring system; or, on roofs 50-feet (15.25 m) or less in width, the use or a safety monitoring system alone:    JOB SITE: 4067 Les Cherbourg Lane, Florissant, MO 63034, at this work site, workers were observed on a 4:12 pitched roof, approximately 8 feet 3 inches to 11 feet 4 inches eave to ground level, installing new roof shingles, and were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.  Workers were exposed to a potential fall hazard.    Abatement certification and abatement documentation is required for this violation.  The documentation should include written verification of abatement, applicable measurements or monitoring results, and photographs or videos which you believe will be helpful.  The abatement certification sheet is enclosed with the citation(s).
