Section 5(a)(1):  The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to struck-by hazards:    (a)  On or about May 25, 2012, for the employee using Hilti HIT-TZ threaded anchor rods to secure a 28-foot tall steel column and did not follow the manufacturer's instructions for installation resulting in the steel column tipping over, at the Sheyenne Addition, located at 800 40th Avenue East, West Fargo, North Dakota.    Abatement Note:  Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable method of abatement would be to obtain approval from the engineer of record for the project and follow the requirements identified in the manufacturer's installation instructions for the anchors being used.
