29 CFR 1910.23(c)(1): Open sided floor(s) or platform(s) 4 feet or more above the adjacent floor or ground level were not guarded by standard railings (or the equivalent as specified in 29 CFR 1910.23(e)(3)(i) through (v)), on all open sides of the roof surface. (a) On or about 05/30/2012 at Building #1 Triangle Road, Old Bridge, NJ 08857: Employees cleaning gutters on a 2-story apartment building roof with a 4/12 pitch and a eave height of approximately 20' from the ground were not using a fall protection system. Employees working on the roof were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 20' to the ground below.
