29 CFR 1926.760(a)(1): Each employee engaged in a steel erection activity who is on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge more than 15 feet (4.6 m) above a lower level was not protected from fall hazards by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, positioning device systems, or fall restraint systems. On or about May 24, 2012: a) Employee was exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 33 feet while welding decking without the use of fall protection. M.E.G. International, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard 1926.760(a)(1) which was contained in OSHA inspection number#314209826 citation 1 Item 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 7/12/2011.
