29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: (a) On or about 05/25/12 - 8865 County Road 71, Centre, AL, employees removing and installing shingles were not protected from falls by the use of a fall protection system, exposing employees to falls of 11 feet. RAY'S ROOFING WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED FOR A VIOLATION OF THIS OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARD OR ITS EQUIVALENT STANDARD 1926.501(b)(11) WHICH WAS CONTAINED IN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER 313086423, CITATION NUMBER 01, ITEM NUMBER 3a AND WAS AFFIRMED AS A FINAL ODER ON 07/07/2009, WITH RESPECT TO A WORKPLACE LOCATED AT 2359 HIGHWAY 9, HEFLIN, AL.
