29 CFR 1910.37(b)(6): Each exit sign was not illuminated to a surface value of at least five foot-candles (54 lux) by a reliable light source and be distinctive in color:    a) Warehouse North West Exit door - On or about 31 May, 2012 - The exit sign above the fire exit on the NorthWest wall of the warehouse was inoperable and in the event of a fire or emergency employees would not be able to identify the door as an emergency exit. Employees were exposed to a fire hazard.

29 CFR 1910.110(f)(2)(i): Containers in storage were not located so as to minimize exposure to excessive temperature rise, physical damage, or tampering by unauthorized persons.    a) Warehouse loading dock - On or about 31 May, 2012 - LP gas cylinders were stored in the warehouse adjacent to the loading dock opening. Containers were not secured to prevent physical damage, excessive temperature rise or tampering by unauthorized persons.

29 CFR 1910.157(g)(1): An educational program was not provided for all employees to familiarize them with the general principles of fire extinguisher use and the hazards involved with incipient stage fire fighting:  Note:  Applies where all employees are expected to fight fires.    a) Building - On or about 31 May, 2012 - Employees were not trained in the use of portable fire extinguishers.    Abatement Note: The employer must either correct the alleged violation item(s) or implement a Fire Safety Policy, as outlined in 29 CFR 1910.38(a) and (b), which includes the evacuation requirements in 29 CFR 1910.157(b).    Pursuant to 29 CFR 1903.19(d), the employer must provide certification to OSHA that this violation has been abated with 10 calendar days of the "Date by which Violation Must be Abated".
