29 CFR 1926.501(c)(1): When employees were exposed to falling objects, the employer did not have each employee wear a hard hat and did not erect toeboards, screens, canopy structures or barricades to prevent objects from falling from higher levels: (a) 240 Kindig Lane, Hanover, PA 17331, Second and Third floors - The mechanical chase had no toe boards erected and the openings were seventeen feet ten inches by forty inches and were located on all floors. There was storage of small and large items on the floor that could be displaced to the lower level, on or about May 16, 2012 Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
