29 CFR 1910.22(a)(2):  Where wet processes were used, drainage was not maintained, and false floors, platforms, mats, or other dry standing places were not provided when practicable.    Service Tech Area.  The floor of the room where technicians stood to test and repair equipment, including live voltage testing, was wet with standing water that did not drain properly following testing of equipment with wet processes such as power washers.      Abatement certification is required for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c).

29 CFR 1910.151(c):   Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use:    Employees were exposed to corrosive chemical splashes to the eyes when filling 55-gallon drums from 270-gallon totes and adding water to lead--acid batteries in lift trucks.  The employer did not have an emergency eyewash available.    Abatement certification is required for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c).    Abatement note:  For compliance assistance, refer to national consensus standard ANSI Z358.1-2009, "American National Standard for Emergency Eyewash and Shower Equipment."

29 CFR 1910.335(a)(1)(i):  Employees working in areas where there were potential electrical hazards were not provided with electrical protective equipment that was appropriate for the specific parts of the body that needed to be protected and for the work being performed:    Technicians who performed live voltage measurements (110v to 460v) on equipment during servicing and repair did not wear appropriate electrical protective equipment, including but not limited to the following, to protect against electrical shock and arc flash/blast injuries:    a)     Rubber insulating gloves with leather protectors.  b)     Arc-Rated clothing such as arc-rated long-sleeve shirt and pants or arc-rated coverall  c)     Hearing protection (canal inserts)  d)     Arc-rated flash suit hood or balaclava    Abatement certification is required for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c).
