29 CFR 1926.502(d)(16)(iii): Personal fall arrest systems, when stopping a fall, shall be rigged such that an employee can neither free fall more than 6 feet (1.8 m), nor contact any lower level; a. On or about June 6, 2012 - at the above addressed jobsite, an employee who was engaged in window installation on the seventeenth floor was expsoed to fall hazards when the fall protection was not rigged in such a way that the employee could not free fall more than six feet, nor contact any lower level, thereby exposing the employee to fall hazards.
