29 CFR 1926.405(b)(1): Conductors entering boxes, cabinets, or fittings. Conductors entering boxes, cabinets, or fittings shall be protected from abrasion, and openings through which conductors enter shall be effectively closed. Unused openings in cabinets, boxes, and fittings shall also be effectively closed. On or about 50/23/2012, the employer did not ensure that unused circuit breaker openings in the temporary power panel on the Canton St side of the structure were closed to prevent accidental contact with live circuits and/or moisture or dust coming in contact with the live circuits. The panel was located outside the structure between the side of the structure and Canton St. Zemke's Electric LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety & health standard which was contained in OSHA inspection number 313026619, citation number 1, item number 3 and was affirmed as a final order on 02/18/2010, with respect to a workplace located at 63537 Hwy 1090, Pearl River LA.
