29 CFR 1910.215(b)(3): Bench and/or floor stand grinding machinery had angular exposure of the grinding wheel periphery and sides for safety guard(s) which exceeded 125 degrees where the work required contact with the wheel below the horizontal plane of (a) The floor stand grinder located in the welding shop, did not have a guard on the stone side of the grinder. Employees would be exposed to flying chips, stone and metal fragments. Abatement verification is required for this item.

29 CFR 1910.305(g)(2)(iii): Flexible cords and cables were not connected to devices and fittings so that strain relief was provided that would prevent pull from being directly transmitted to joints or terminal screws: (a) The flexible conduit providing power to the large box fan had come loose and was resulting in strain on the conductors. this could result in exposure to electrical shock. Abatement verification is not required for this item. Item corrected during inspection.
