29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet or more above the lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, nor was an alternative fall protection plan which meets the requirements of 29 CFR 1926.502(k) developed and implemented: (a) On or about 06/07/2012 at 1 JFK Boulevard, Somerset, NJ 08873: Employees engaged in roofing work on a 4/12 pitched roof with an eave height of approximately 20' from the ground below were not provided with a fall protection system. Valor Construction LLC was previously cited for a repeat violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard or it's equivalent 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13) which was contained in OSHA Inspection #314676974, Citation #2, Item #1, issued on 03/25/2011 with respect to a workplace located at 254 4th Street, Palisades Park, NJ 07024 and became a final order on 04/14/2011.

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet(.9m) above the upper landing surface to which the ladder was used to gain access: (a) On or about 06/07/2012 at 1 JFK Boulevard, Somerset, NJ 08873: Employees used ladders that extended approximately 12 inches above the level they were accessing on the eave, thereby were exposed to an approximate 20' fall hazard. Valor Construction LLC., was previously citied for serious violations of this Occupational Safety and Health standard or its equivalent standard, 29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1) which was contained in OSHA Inspection Number 314676974, Citation# 1, Item #1 issued on 03/30/2011 with respect to a work place located at 254 4th Street, Palisades Park, NJ 07024 and became a Final Order on 04/14/2011.
