29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10):  Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet or more above lower levels, was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or a combination of warning line system and guardrail systems, warning line system and personal fall arrest system, or warning line system and safety monitoring system:     (a)Hurst Roofing at 754 Horizon Dr., Grand Junction, CO 81506:  On and before June 11, 2012 the employer did not ensure that employees were protected from injury, in that his employees conducted roofing operations on a two story motel roof with a pitch of 4-in-12, were not utilizing a fall protection system. This condition exposed employees to a fall hazard of approximately 17 feet.
