29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet or more above lower levels, was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or a combination of warning line system and guardrail system, warning line system and safety net system, or warning line system and personal fall arrest system, or warning line system and safety monitoring system.  Or, on roofs 50-feet (15.25 m) or less in width, each employee was not protected by use of a monitoring system.    a) Hurst Roofing & Construction at 3188 D 1/2 Rd., Grand Junction, CO 81504:  On or before June 18th, 2015 the employer did not ensure that employees were protected from falling off a low-slope roof during roofing work.  Employees were performing roofing work without a fall protection system or a safety monitoring system.  This condition exposed employees to a fall hazard of approximately 13.5 feet.     Hurst Roofing & Construction was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 475479, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on July 20th, 2012, with respect to a workplace located at 754 Horizon Drive, Grand Junction, CO 81506.    Hurst Roofing & Construction was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 463958, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on July 26th, 2012, with respect to a workplace located at 754 Horizon Dr., Grand Junction, CO 81506.    Hurst Roofing & Construction was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 942839, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on December 11th, 2013, with respect to a workplace located at 1453 4th Ave., Grand Junction, CO 81051.
