Employees operate forklifts daily to move metal stock throughout the production area.

29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1): Employers shall develop, implement, and maintain at each workplace, a written hazard communication program which at least describes how the criteria specified in paragraphs (f), (g), and (h) of this section.      a) American Steel Associated Products Inc. located on 2375 Dorr Street in Toledo, OH: On or about June 8, 2012, the employer did not develop and implement a written hazard communication program that addressed hazardous effects of chemicals such as, but not limited to, LP gas used to power forklifts in the production area.  Burns and frostbite are a few of the potential acute health effects associated with overexposure to this chemical.
