29 CFR 1926.451(g)(4)(i): Guardrail systems shall be installed along all open sides and ends of platforms. Guardrail systems shall be installed before the scaffold is released for use by employees other than erection/dismantling crews. a. On or about June 11, 2012 - at the above addressed jobsite, employees performing brick laying operations from a tubular welded frame scaffold approximately thirteen (13) feet seven (7) above the ground were exposed to injuries from falls due to the lack of guardrails, thereby exposing the employees to fall hazards.
