29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iv)(B): Unless specifically permitted otherwise in paragraph (g)(1)(ii) of this section, flexible cords and cables may not be used: Where run through holes in walls, ceilings, or floors; Employees engaged in manufacturing activities in the Tumbler Room and in the Tumbler Area in the main production building were exposed to electrical shock hazards in that a flexible cord had been plugged into a receptacle in the Tumbler Room and run through the wall in order to facilitate production needs in that Tumbler Area.
