29 CFR 1910.305(a)(2)(ix): Lamps for general illumination were not protected from accidental contact or breakage by a suitable fixture or lampholder with a guard and a metal-cased socket with an ungrounded shell was used, Or in the Alternative 29 CFR 1910.304(g)(5): The path to ground from circuits, equipment, and enclosures was not permanent, continuous and effective: (a) Employees were potentially exposed to serious injury from the use of a Berlese Funnel appartus with an ungrounded shell and a light that was not protected from accidental contact or breakage. The apparatus was being used in the AQU agricultural inspection room at the Portland International Airport Field Inspection Station in Portland, Oregon.

29 CFR 1910.334(a)(2)(ii): There was a defect or evidence of damage that could have exposes an employee to injury and the defective or damaged item was not removed from service: (a) The inspection revealed that the flexible cord for a drill had a damaged outer jacket. The drill was located in the PAU locker room at the Portland International Airport Field Inspection Station in Portland, Oregon.
