29 CFR 1910.67(c)(2)(i): Lift controls were not tested each day prior to use to determine that such controls are in safe working condition: (a) VF Outlets, Adjacent To Railroad - On or about June 13, 2012 employees operated a Genie S80 aerial lift without first conducting a pre-operation function test in order to verify that controls including but not limited to the boom limit switch was in a safe operating condition. Abatement certification and documentation required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date and method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement. Abatement documentation shall include documents demonstrating that abatement is complete, such as evidence of the purchase or repair of equipment, photographic or video evidence of abatement or other written records.
