29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. a) Park Lane Motel Roof - On or about 18 June, 2012 - Employees were working on the roof installing asphalt roofing shingles without the use of personal fall protection. Employees were exposed to a fall hazard of 10 feet. BARTLETT ENTERPRISES WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED FOR A VIOLATION OF THIS OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARD, ITS EQUIVALENT, OR ESSENTIALLY SIMILIAR STANDARD, 1926.501(b)(13), WHICH WAS CONTAINED IN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER 310525456 CITATION NUMBER 02, ITEM NUMBER 001, ISSUED ON 03/07/2008.
