29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet or more above a lower level were not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: a) On or about June 13, 2012 and times prior, employees were exposed to injuries from falls greater than 6 feet while installing 2 x 4 boards on the roof surface. The employee was wearing a harness with a lanyard but was not connected to an anchorage point. Allied Building Products was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, which was contained in OSHA Inspection Number 312104318, Citation Number 1, Item Number 1, and issued on 07/07/2009, with respect to a workplace located at 326 Canton Street, Randolph, MA 023368. This citation became final order on November 23, 2009. Abatement Note: Abatement certification is required for this item (see enclosed "Sample Abatement-Certification Letter").
