29 CFR 1926.451(c)(2)(v): Fork-lifts were used to support scaffold platforms while the entire platform was not attached to the fork and the fork-lift was moved horizontally while the platform was occupied: At the site, while standing on a wooden pallet resting on the tines of a JLG Sky Trak Model 6042, Serial # 0160031456 Powered Industrial Vehiclle, masonry workers were being elevated so that they could access plastic on the side of the gas station under construction. This condition exposed workers to falls in excess of 10 feet.

29 CFR 1926.451(g)(1): Each employee on a scaffold more than 10 feet above a lower level was not protected from falling to that lower level. At the site, while standing on a wooden pallet resting on the tines of a JLG Sky Trak Model 6042, Serial # 0160031456, Powered Industrial Vehiclle, masonry workers were being elevated so that they could access plastic on the side of the gas station under construction. The absence of guardrails or any other type of fall protection exposed workers to falls in excess of 10 feet.
