29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet or more above lower levels, was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or a combination of warning line system and fuardrail system, warning line system and safety net system, or warning line system and personal fall arrest system, or warning line system and safety monitoring system. Or, on roofs 50-feet (15.25 m) or less in width, each employee was not protected by use of a monitoring system. On or about June 14, 2012, six employees assembling the low-slop roof of the building without any form of fall protection. This condition exposed the employees to a fall hazard of approximately 15 feet 6 inches to the ground below. R & D METAL BUILDING ERECTORS WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED FOR A VIOLSTION OF THIS OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARD, WHICH WAS CONTAINED IN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER 312922388, CITATION NUMBER 01, ITEM NUMBER 002, AND WAS AFFIRMED AS A FINAL ORDER ON JULY 22, 2010, WITH RESPECT TO A WORKPLACE LOCATED AT 17490 HWY 3, HOUSTON, TX 77058.
