On or about June 15, 2012 the surge protector was not used as its listed and labeled purpose in that a large industrial box fan, 40" x 40", was plugged into the unit. b.) Atlantic yacht Basin, Inc., Paint Shop. On or about June 15, 2012, the shop made temporary flexible cord, with a metal junction box attached, was not used as its listed and labeled purpose in that the box was not permanently mounted.

29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iv)(A): Flexible cords and/or cables were used as a substitute for the fixed wiring of a structure: a.) Atlantic Yacht Basin, Inc., Paint Shop Break Area. On or about June 15, 2012, a temporary flexible cord was being used in lieu of permanent wiring in that the male attachment plug belonging to a refrigerator/freezer appliance was plugged into the unit. b.) Atlantic Yacht Basin, Inc., Carpentry Shop. On or about June 15, 2012, a surge protector was being used in lieu of permanent wiring in that the male attachment plug belonging to a large industrial box fan, and a shop radio were plugged into the unit. c.) Atlantic Yacht Basin, Inc., Spar Shed. On or about June 15, 2012, a temporary flexible cord was being used in lieu of permanent wiring in that the male attachment plug belonging to a microwave, and a water cooler unit were plugged into the unit.
