29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. At the site located at 10330H HWY6. in Missouri City, TX an employee was observed working to fix an awning on the outside of a Petco store without the use of any fall protection systems at an approximate height of 11'. This condition exposed the employee to fall hazards in excess of 11 feet.
