29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems, nor  did the employer demonstrate that it is infeasible or creates a greater hazard to use these systems and develop and implement a fall protection plan which meets the requirements of paragraph (k) of section 1926.502.      a)  2 Chelsea Drive, Livingston, NJ.    Employee was observed working on roof top without any means of fall protection being utilized, thereby exposing the employee to a fall hazard of 15 feet to the ground.                        Violation observed on or about 06/23/2012.

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface to which the ladder was used to gain access:      a)  2 Chelsea Drive, Livingston, NJ.      A ladder being used to gain access onto roof top extended approximately 2 feet above landing, thereby exposing the employee to a fall hazard of 15 feet to the ground.                               Violation observed on or about 06/23/2012.
