29 CFR 1926.416(a)(1): Employees were permitted to work in proximity to electric power circuits and were not protected against electric shock by de-energizing and grounding the circuits or effectively guarding the circuits by insulation or other means: On or about June 22, 2012 employees were not protected from an electrical shock while working in close proximity to an overhead distribution line, exposing them to the hazards associated with contacting a 7.2kV distribution line. Chris Kwak Construction Co. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.451(f)(6) which was contained in inspection number 315298554, citation number 1, item number 2, and was affirmed as a final order on April 5, 201 , with respect to a work place located at 3737 Marshfield, Chicago, IL. 60613. Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(d).
