29 CFR 1926.20(b)(2): Employer did not provide programs for frequent and regular inspections of the job sites, materials, and equipment to be made by a competent person designated by the employer:	    (a)	CSI Construction, Inc. at 1425 W. 141st Court, Westminster, CO 80023: On and before 7/18/12, the controlling employer did not ensure a competent person conducted frequent and regular inspections of the job-site, materials, and equipment. Subcontractor employees were permitted to work in areas where fall hazards existed. The condition exposed subcontractor employees to a fall hazard of approximately 18 feet.    Abatement Note:  Abatement certification is required for this item (see enclosed "Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet").    Abatement Note: OSHA defines a competent person to mean one who is capable of identifying existing and predictable hazards in the surroundings or working conditions which are unsanitary, hazardous, or dangerous to employees, and who has authorization to take prompt corrective measures to eliminate them.
