29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1):  Each employee on a walking/working surface (horizontal and vertical surface) with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems:      (a)	 E & K of Denver, Inc. at 105 Edgeview Drive, Broomfield, CO 80020: On and before 5/25/12, the exposing employer did not ensure that each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was protected from falling by the use of a guardrail system, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system.  Employees collect and remove construction debris at each window opening of the four story building. Trash is collected on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th floor of the building. The 5 by 5 window was measured at 31 inches from the floor to the window sill. This condition exposed the employees to a fall hazard.       Abatement Note:  Abatement certification is not required for this item.
