29 CFR 1926.403(i)(2)(i): Live parts of electric equipment operating at 50 volts or more were not guarded against accidental contact by cabinets or other forms of enclosures, nor by any of the means listed in subparagraphs (A) through (D) of this paragraph. a) On or about 6/25/12, on Aldi's Construction Site, in the Utility Room, 998 Broadway St., Buffalo, NY: An uncovered rectangular opening for the light switch contained the conductors for the room lighting. An approximately 6 inch long cord with an electrical plug attached to one end, was connected to the conductors inside the switch opening with wire nuts. The plug & short cord hung out of the opening. One end of an extension cord was connected to a 120 volt-ac receptacle on a generator, and the "hanging" plug was plugged into the other end of that extension cord, backfeeding the room lights. Live electrical conductors were exposed. NO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED

NO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
