29 CFR 1910.252(b)(2)(iii):     Protection from arc welding rays. Where the work permits, the welder should be enclosed in an individual booth painted with a finish of low reflectivity such as zinc oxide (an important factor for absorbing ultraviolet radiations) and lamp black, or shall be enclosed with noncombustible screens similarly painted. Booths and screens shall permit circulation of air at floor level. Workers or other persons adjacent to the welding areas shall be protected from the rays by noncombustible or flameproof screens or shields or shall be required to wear appropriate goggles.    1. Jobsite, 2760 Red Lion Road, Battery Charging Area - Employees were exposed to arc welding rays being generated by the Lincoln Electric Arc Welder.  Workers adjacent to or walking by the operation were not fully proected as only two screens were provided to contain the welding rays.  Observed on or about June 25, 2012.

NOTE: 2 week prior there was an electrical short in the same area due to damaged flexible cords. Observed on or about June 25, 2012.    2. Jobsite, 2760 Red Lion Road, Center Pack, Lane 52 - Employees were operating and/or conducting work from and around a conveyor belt where a flexible cable connected to a junction box had its terminal screw unattached after maintenance had been completed. Observed on or about June 25, 2012.
