29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Except as otherwise provided in paragraph (b) of this section, each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs, with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels, were not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or a combination of warning line system and guardrail system, warning line system and safety net system, or warning line system and personal fall arrest system, or warning line system and safety monitoring system: Worksite: An employee working on a low-sloped roof in excess of 6 feet above ground level was outside of the warning lines and was not adequately protected from falling. Weisman Roofing was previously cited for a violation this occupational safety and health standard, or its equivalent standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 310157409, citation number 01, item 1a, and was affirmed as a final order on 09/19/07, with respect to a workplace located at 78 Empire Street, Providence, RI.
