29 CFR 1910.147(c)(1): The employer did not establish a program consisting of energy control procedures, employee training and periodic inspections to ensure that the machine or equipment is isolated from the energy source and rendered inoperative before any employee performs any servicing or maintenance on a machine or equipment where the unexpected energizing, startup or release of stored energy could occur and cause injury. a) On or about June 15, 2012; at the northside of home; the employer had not developed a specific energy control plan that outlines each step that must be taken while replacing or relocating low pressure gas lines ensuring natural gas is controlled from unexpected energizing/ignition.
