OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1):  The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to being crushed by equipment:     a)  For the 1980 Ingersoll-Rand SP-48 soil compactor being used to compact soil on a dirt road adjacent to a 10-foot deep drainage ditch on 6/27/2012 at the LB3 site of the Lemon Bay and Roberts Bay Sediment Management Project at Buchan Airport in Englewood (FL).  On this date, the compactor veered into the ditch, then rolled over causing the operator to be ejected from the compactor.  The compactor was NOT equipped with a seat belt.
