29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. Work Site: 212-234 Schuyler Ave., Kearny, NJ Employees were installing sheathing with no fall protection system in place, thereby exposing employees to a 20 foot fall to the ground below. Violation observed on or about 5/7/2012 Brito Construction LLC was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard or its equivalent standard which was contained in OSHA Inspection Number 315860759, Citation 1, Item 2, issued on 10/18/2011, final order date 11/28/2011.
