29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest systems. nor was an alternative fall protection plan which meets the requirements of 29 CFR 1926.502(k) developed and implemented: Jobsite located at 1541 Coolidge, Wichita, KS; employee installing shingles on a 4 in 12 pitch residential roof was exposed to fall hazards of approximately 9 feet from the eave to the ground. Fall protection equipment present at the jobsite was not used. Fredi Cortez was previously cited for a repeat violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 311793988, citation number 01, item number 01 and was affirmed as a final order on 01/09/2009, with respect to a workplace located at 4607 & 4609 N. Ironwood Circle, Wichita, KS 67226.
