29 CFR 1910.23(a)(1): The stairway floor opening was not guarded by a standard railing constructed in accordance with paragraph (e) of this section: (a) Historic Restorations, Incorporated - The stairway opening from the Wood Shop to the basement was not guarded and exposed employees to an eight (8) foot fall to the lower level, on or about June 27, 2012. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
