29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system unless another provision in paragraph (b) of this section provides for an alternative fall protection measure. a) Jobsite: On or about June 26, 2012, a total of 3 employees were installing roof trusses on a residential home and were not protected from fall hazards. Two employees were exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 18 feet while walking the top plate and the third employee was exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 14 feet to the inside of the structure.

The program shall enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and shall train each employee in the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards. a) Jobsite: On or about June 26, 2012, employees were working at heights and exposed to fall hazards and were not trained to recognize the hazards of falling nor trained in the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards.
