29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): Machine guarding was not provided to protect operator(s) and other employees from hazard(s) created by rotating parts and in-going nip points:    a) On or about July 3, 2012 employees working on the small palletizer line were walking in between the swinging arm of the palletizer and the stacked pallets to retrieve loose cans that had fallen off the line, exposing them to struck-by hazards. There was no positive means of guarding to stop employees from walking in between and/or stopping the swing arm from striking an employee.     b) On or about July 3, 2012 in the cooker room, wires and pulleys powering the can conveyor between cookers 1 and 3 were not guarded up to seven feet off the ground, exposing in-going nip points.     c)  On or about July 3, 2012 in the cooker room, wires and pulleys powering the can conveyor between cookers 3 and 4 were not guarded up to seven feet off the ground, exposing in-going nip points.     d) On or about July 3, 2012 in the cooker room, wires and pulleys powering the can conveyor between cookers 2 and 5 were not guarded up to seven feet off the ground, exposing in-going nip points.    Abatement Certification and Abatement Documentation Required.
