29 CFR 1926.28(a): The employer did not require the wearing of appropriate personal protective equipment in all operations where there is an exposure to hazardous conditions. (a) Location - The Roof: On or about 7/9/12, the employer failed to ensure that employees were wearing the appropriate personal protective equipment while working with steel siding. Capeway Roofing Systems, Inc. was previously cited for violation of this Occupational Safety and Health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.28(a), which was contained in OSHA Inspection number 313127177. Citation number 01, item number 001 issued on 06/22/2009, and was affirmed final order on 07/16/2009, with respect to a worksite located at 46 Church Street, Branford, CT.
