29 CFR 1926.100(a):     Employees working in areas where there was a possible danger of head injury from impact, or falling or flying objects, or from electrical shock and burns, were not protected by protective helmets:    On July 10, 2012 an employee was not protected by a hard hat while exposed to overhead hazards such as roofing materials.    There is no abatement certification or documentation required for this item.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11):     Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems:    On July 10, 2012 employees were not protected from a falls while roofing a commercial building with a steep roof, exposing them to a fall hazard of 8.1 feet.      Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(d).
