29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet or more above lower levels, was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or a combination of warning line system and fuardrail system, warning line system and safety net system, or warning line system and personal fall arrest system, or warning line system and safety monitoring system. Employees performing roofing activities on a low-slope roof were exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 12.3 feet and appropriate fall protection was not being utilized. The Western Waterproofing Company, Inc. dba Peoria Roofing & Restoration Co. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 312888621, citation number 1, item number 1 and was confirmed as a final order on September 26, 2009, with respect to a workplace located at 221 NE Glen Oak Ave., Peoria, IL 61636.
