29 CFR 1910.133(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that each affected employee uses appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation: a) Building 1, at the beginning of the e-polish line: On 06/22/2012, an employee sustained a chemical splash to his eyes/body while pumping the corrosive chemical, electropolish, from a tote to the treatment tower and the employer did not ensure that the employee wore appropriate eye protection (goggles), on or about 07/10/2012. b) Building 1, at the hydrochloric tank: Employees pumped the corrosive chemical, hydrochloric acid, into the hydrochloric tank and the employer did not ensure that the employees wore appropriate eye protection (goggles), on or about 07/28/2012. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED

29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use: a) Building 1, at the beginning of the e-polish line: On 06/22/2012, an employee sustained a chemical splash to his eyes/body while pumping the corrosive chemical, electropolish, from a tote to the treatment tower and an emergency eyewash/shower was not accessible for immediate emergency use, on or about 07/10/2012. The employer, Reilly Finishing Technologies, was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 312293830 citation number 01 item number 02 and was affirmed as a final order on 01/26/2010, with respect to a workplace located at Reilly Finishing Technologies, 130 Alden Road, Nanticoke, PA 18634. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION AND DOCUMENTATION REQUIRED
