29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor was an alternative fall protection measure provided:    (a)Bighorn Metalworks, Inc. at 3813 Cedarwood Ln., Johnstown, CO 80534:  On July 14, 2012, the employer, did not ensure the employees were protected from injury, in that an employee engaged in residential construction activities installing rain gutters on a roof with a 6 in 12 pitch without the use of fall protection.  This condition exposed the employees to a fall  hazard of approximately 18 feet.    Bighorn Metalworks, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of is occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 312133846, citation number 1, item 1(b), issued July 29, 2008 and became a final order on August 13, 2008, with respect to a workplace located at 6440 Xanadu Way, Centennial, CO 80111.
