This condition exposed employees to electric shock hazards while touching the metal parts of the equipment.

29 CFR 1910.305(b)(1)(ii): Unused openings in boxes, cabinets, or fittings were not effectively closed: On or about November 28, 2012, employees were exposed to electric shock hazards in the following areas: A. Embroidery Department: An open knockout was observed on a 4-outlet electrical receptacle mounted on the wall at the front of the department, 16 inches from the ground. B. Plate Making Room: Breakers/blanks were missing from the wall mounted 120V circuit breaker box. An opening on the left side of the box measured 3/4" high x 2 1/2" wide 51 1/2" from the ground. Another opening on the right of the box measured 1 1/2" high x 2 1/2" wide 48 1/2" from the ground.
