Or, on roofs 50-feet (15.25 m) or less in width, each employee was not protected by use of a monitoring system:    a)     On or about May 23, 2012, the controlling employer, American Real Estate Contractors, LLC did not ensure employees of Independent Roofing Specialists, LLC and Gonzalez Roofing, both subcontracted companies, were protected from fall hazards in excess of 16 feet while engaged in re-roofing operations on a low-sloped roof.
