29 CFR 1926.501(b)(14): Each employee working on, at, above, or near wall openings where the outside bottom edge of the wall opening is 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels and the inside bottom edge of the wall opening is less than 39 inches (1.0 m) above the walking/working surface,were not protected from falling by the use of a guardrail system, a safety net system, or a personal fall arrest system. At the site located at 9550 Seawall Boulevard, Galveston, TX: On July 13, 2012 the employer did not ensure an employee working on a wall opening with a bottom edge approximately 9.25 feet above the exterior lower level was protected by the proper use of personal fall arrest system, exposing employees to fall hazards.
