29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: (a) On or about July 17, 2012, and at times prior to that date, for the employees of the roofing subcontractor who were shingling the roof of a town home complex with a 5X12 pitch and exposed to fall hazards of approximately 19 feet, located at 3760 North Fourth Avenue, Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Note: This company was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health standard or its equivalent standard which was contained in OSHA Inspection Number 313378770, Citation 1, Item 2, and was affirmed as a final order on July 9, 2009, with respect to a workplace located at 2401 Tenth Street, Brookings, South Dakota.
