29 CFR 1910.132(d)(1)(i): The employer did not select, and have each affected employee use, the types of PPE that will protect the affected employee from the hazards identified in the hazard assessment; Storage building; the employer did not assess and determine the necessary personal protective equipment needed for employees exposed to nitric acid vapor while wearing a single strap dust mask during nitric acid spill cleanup. Employees were exposed to contact hazards that resulted in medical treatment.
