29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, personal fall arrest system, or other approved alternative fall protection system: (a) Alberto Roofing, Inc, 5436-66 W. 72nd Place, Westminster, CO 80003: On and before July 18, 2012, the employer did not ensure that employees were protected from injury, in that one employee hammering nails into cloth sheeting from a two tier roof on a multi-story multi-residential complex was not utilizing a fall protection system. This condition exposed the employee to a fall hazard of approximately 11-15 feet. Alberto Roofing, Inc was previously cited for a violation of the same or substantially similar condition of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10) which was contained in OSHA Inspection Number 313417875, Citation Number 1, Item 1 issued on April 8, 2010 and became Final Order on April 26, 2010 with respect to a workplace located at 5436-66 W. 72nd Place, Westminster, CO 80003.
